Introduction
This article contains references to sex work slurs and sexual abuse. No matter where you are in the world, no matter what kind of sex work you do, at one time or another you’re going to cross paths with folks who don’t approve. How can we find the right words, when we find ourselves in an argument I spoke with pornstar Lucie Bee about some of the ways they defend themselves against sex work exclusionary feminists (SWERFs), trolls and the misinformed. Today, I’m interviewing sex work self-care expert Lola Davina, tackling more common criticisms. Lola has a breadth of industry experience that spans decades.
